Legal

         Documentation

Within the ceremony, there are only a couple of legalities we need to abide to and one of those is the signing of the legal documentation.

What legal documentation you may ask?

Well, in order for me to legally marry you, a marriage licence needs to be obtained prior to the ceremony taking place.   This needs to be arranged at least 3 days before the wedding but lasts up to 3 months so best to apply for it early.  You can apply online or on paper.

4 Easy steps to getting married:

  • Complete the paper work online by going to BDM website (click below)

  • Licence gets emailed to you which you send to me for signing on the day along with 2 witnesses

  • Get married on your special day

    • place, and date, of birth
